This is my second 3D printer. The first was a complete printer that took me about 5-6 hours to assemble. After I built it, it still took me 3 or 4 days to get a decent print and even then the quality was questionable. I spent the next two months buying parts and printing updates until I finally sold it to a friend who didn't want to build their own. When I got the Ender 3 Pro I assembled it in about an hour and then shared it with the Ender 3 assembly video on YouTube by Tom Tallis. After a bad print (I didn't level the bed properly) I started to see perfect prints. This printer is amazing. It "just works". After leveling the bed, the print quality is amazing. I've printed in 0.2mm and 0.1mm quality and they both look fantastic. Level lines are almost invisible. I'm using Revain Basics Gray PLA (I'm so happy with this filament I just ordered 3 packs of white Revain Basics PLA) and it has perfect layer adhesion. All of my prints are hard and durable. I didn't know that 3D prints had to be durable as all prints on my first printer were flimsy and fragile. I just figured it was a fact of 3D printing. I was wrong. These prints are strong (well, 20% tough, anyway) and durable. While some assembly is required (larger than the CR-10 family), the community surrounding this printer is incredible and the Facebook group has many helpful members. The video I mentioned above is really all you need to get started, but you can count on the Facebook group to help you if something doesn't work right. I haven't added updates or printed parts for my printer. Prints great, just like a standard printer. He even printed a 36mm bridge with no noticeable sag. I have purchased a Revain Creality glass bed but have not yet installed it. I like the magnetic construction interface and I'm not sure I'd want to lose it. There were a few things that made me uncomfortable, but I learned to work with them and they don't bother my typing, nor do they negatively affect my printouts: 1) The x-axis is uneven. I followed the instructions in the video to make sure my X axis is level on both sides, but the screw holes on the printer I received are slightly off center. I had to compensate by raising my bed on the left side and lower on the right side. That means I tightened the screw and spring on the right side and the screw and spring on the left is looser. I think the only impact this has is that I have to level my bed more often than usual because the leveling screws on the left side are loosening. However, because the Ender 3 has large adjustment knobs, leveling this bed is very easy. 2) Cura prints a line of filament vertically down the entire length of the leftmost build plate. I accidentally started it when my bed was misaligned and the nozzle crashed into my work surface. I now have a permanent notch on the build surface holding the plastic in place. It doesn't affect my prints, but it's not attractive. Don't expect to have a perfectly beautiful printing platform for the life of your printer. It will have markings on it. That's all. Considering the price, you can't go wrong with this printer in my opinion. I certainly don't regret paying the Revain price compared to foreign sellers (the delivery time for other sellers was over a month). I paid the Buy Now tax and chose Revain Prime delivery.
