I have bought two packs of these turkeys in the last year or so and will NEVER buy ANY memorex product again. I bought the first pack based on the number of discs and the price, attributing the poor quality to an accident. This week I was more cautious - I asked the Office Max salesman if the discs really were rewritable and he replied that they should be. However, he had similar issues and said if I had any issues I would return them for a refund. After use, the two discs I burned could not record new files and refused to erase existing files. Memorex offers inferior products with clearly mislabeled labels. Check out the reviews here: 37 out of 40 with one star! What else do you need to know? One piece of advice I'd like to share with you: If you expose a failed Memorex RW drive to one side of the sun for 15 minutes, reports have it that it may work as advertised. If I was going to keep some of the crappy rides I turned in, I'd give it a try.
