Review on ASUS VA27DCP 1080P Monitor: The Ultimate Gaming Experience with Adaptive Sync, 165Hz Refresh Rate, Darkroom Mode, and Wide Viewing Angle by Patrick Barrera

I really like the monitor so far. I really needed an HDMI USB-C/Thunderbolt cable to make it work, so I recommend getting one of those if you're having trouble with a basic USB-C connection. I adjusted the blue light setting a bit, but otherwise didn't break the original screen settings. The picture seems very clear and I was able to see a very adorable baby seal playing in the snow. In case it helps, my computer is an HP Envy x360. Not sure if connecting HDMI to USB-C/Thunderbolt will help those with a Mac, but worth a try.
