I think the multi-tool socket is pretty good. A detachable tool is safe when it's locked in place and easy to remove. I also bought it because it just tends to be larger than your average popsocket. My knock is that it is not compatible with the regular popsocket holder for my machine. Therefore, the convenience of placing it in the bracket is almost impossible. The last thing I want to mention is that this adds a bit of weight and makes your phone heavier than usual when plugged in. It might not matter much to some, but sometimes people don't want their phones to weigh them down.
