I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and we were excited to try it as we had never seen anything like it before. The Christmas tree theme is so cute and easy to use - you insert the batteries, remove the cap from the ornament and plug it into the ornament maker's base, turn on the switch and you're good to go! Contains several markers for decoration. She loved how cool it was that when you held the marker, the ornament would spin and create striped patterns. Even adults were amazed by his production. The finished product looks pretty cheap. While I like it, it's very expensive for what it is - it's $30 and you only get 3 decorations with it, so you have to spend another $20 to get more jewelry packs. The jewelry is plastic and the only design you can do with it is the stripes which are beautiful but she was hoping she could do more with it. Light green and yellow markings are almost invisible, so I wouldn't recommend using those colors. All in all, it's not worth the price and extra cost of buying extra decorations for it. To be honest I wouldn't buy it again when I can go to a craft store for jewelry and get a lot more variety for the money.
