Bought for my wife as she listens to everything from hip hop to EDM. She also searches many teaching materials on the Internet. They meet all requirements. Though I thought they would border on mediocrity given the price, I was ridiculously surprised when I tried them. Mids were clear and well separated from punchy lows. The isolation is excellent and the sound quality is even better. To be honest I'm so surprised I'm sending my Powerbeats Pro back and just getting a pair. Having been an audio engineer for decades and owning my own studio, I know the sound and limitations of small speakers very well. However, I didn't expect them to sound THAT good. We also checked the connection quality and it was fine. Admittedly, we haven't owned it long, so I can't comment on the battery life. However, I contacted the company about another issue and they were extremely responsive so I'm sure they will honor their guarantee. Save them to your consideration list and give them a chance!
