My husband and I bought these sheets after we got married and got a full size bed almost a year ago. Elastic straps are an absolute must as our mattress is very deep and appreciated. However, I like to sleep on the cooler end of the spectrum and these sheets do NOT help with that. I wake up uncomfortable from my REM cycle and have to take the covers off because I'm sweating, and wicking sheets don't help let cooler air in either! If you're a good sleeper and don't move while you sleep, you'll also find that every part of your body that's not dressed sticks to the sheets! If you are a light sleeper and naturally cool and also like to keep your home in cooler temperatures at night (like 69 or 70 degrees) then I would reconsider this purchase. Other reviews on how they hold color after washing and how soft they are are correct. But I'd rather have them lose their color than roast me too much in the middle of my sleep. My husband gets hot all the time and even though he has his own blanket on his side of the bed, HE DON'T USE IT! I guess he doesn't need it because the sheets are so warm. I'm only giving this review because I'm back on Amazon and looking for sheets that specialize in keeping you cool throughout the night.
