Has anyone noticed my lid doesn't look quite finished? You could say it's ok - these are stickers that peel off instantly without all the paper and glue being left behind. NO. I'm guessing it's a 30 minute cleaning job after a very long soak. Why why why? Annoying, pointless, stupid. Yes I know some kids are hungry and people don't spay/neuter their pets and the species is going extinct and by and large it's not a 'problem'. but this is a complete failure of Ettore. Edit - Okay, my 30 minute estimate was WAY wrong. The second photo is after a 24 hour soap soak, 3 fingernail scratches all over the surface and thorough rubbing with a pad hard enough to scratch the plastic but not remove the adhesive. The shadow you see is sticky and won't go anywhere without having to buy some slime or something. I never write reviews but it's not normal and the non-hinging lid isn't worth it. It doesn't hold liquid, but it's strong enough that you're likely to squirt liquid out if you try to remove it. Failure, error, error. So too bad. Seriously folks giving this 5 stars - didn't you have that horrible sticker?
