After purchasing this device about six months ago, I finally decided to sit down and write a review of the Eagle Eye. Firstly I think it's important to know that I'm an older user who was a pretty decent gamer in the 90's." I used to enjoy playing games like BF4 as well as Quake, Half Life and Star Craft. I plan to bought a ps3 to use as a streaming media and blu ray player a while back when blu rays were about the same price i never intended to to use it as a gaming system. But as my kids grew up my 14 year old started playing BF4. I thought it would be great to get another console and play with it now that used PS3 systems are so cheap. I quickly realized that my fingers weren't made for these little game controllers. I was very frustrated that I found myself with the bottom four players in every game. Even after several months of playing, the rookies have beaten me almost every time. I was ready to just give it up and go back to video games. Then I heard about Eagle Eye and decided to give it a try. Setup was painless but needed a little tweaking. The instructions are good and get you up and running quickly. But it's important, take your time and set it up properly. A few days later I started playing again like on PC. The memory of my finger muscles returned and started doing things I had forgotten. For example, rocking while shooting, shooting while jumping and spinning, lowering the mouse while shooting to hit back, etc. - it's just started happening, it's like I'm back in the 90's. It didn't take long for me to climb from the bottom of the list to the permanent top 4 or MVP. Now it was a pleasure to play BF4. My squad friends asked if I had an aim bot or some other hack. It's not a hack - just another PS3 entry to play with. So I guess the real reason PS3 and PC games can never play together isn't because that they can't, but because someone with a game controller that only uses 4 fingers can't compete with someone with eight fingers. Especially if you have a shaving 3000 dpi gaming mouse with gadget buttons. And the last thing I should note is that he's not very good at flying airplanes or helicopters. But hopefully one day they will be able to make a joystick that connects to the eagle eye.
