Stop looking at all the other dresses and just buy this purple dress. It has a pleasantly soft backing so the tulle doesn't scratch. The fabric is breathable. We wore it to breakfast on the beach and it seemed comfortable. The upper has stretch in many places, which is good for years of wear without being messy. I bought the 2T for my average 2 year old girl and due to the stretchy top she was able to wear it until she was 4 years old. This is a great length for a child who wants to play, twirl or jump around in their dress instead of just running around.
