Not silent good for me

I needed a wall clock in my bedroom, but I had to remove it after about an hour because it was making a constant motor noise. It was a quiet noise, but it was still a noise. I put it in a hallway instead, where if I forget it's there, I have a moment of wondering where the heck the noise is coming from. My house is really quiet, so even quiet sounds are really noticeable.
