About an hour of comfortable bright light

The ring light has good build quality and will give excellent results when fully charged; After about an hour, however, it gets significantly darker. I'm wondering if mine is defective or it's just the battery capacity. Unfortunately, the included USB cable isn't long enough to leave it installed on a laptop and connected to the network. When dimmed, it also doesn't immediately brighten when plugged in. Use a longer USB cable and leave it fully charged and plugged in from the start of the meeting for the best results.
