I had a toilet with hard water stains for about 8 years. The most obvious was a hardened ring of lime on the water supply line to the bowl. We tried all sorts of cleaning products to get rid of the ring but nothing worked. I was thinking about buying a new toilet but decided to try this one first. I ended up using almost all of the pumice on one of the two bars, but it worked. The toilet is like new again. There are no traces of hard water and rust. Although it took about 10 minutes of hard cleaning. Considering the cost of a new toilet, this seemed like a reasonable alternative that I would consider again.
