Review on 🔌 OSTWIN Recessed Electrical Retrofit Installation for Traditional Industrial Environments by Dawn Belanger

I previously bought a Parmida 6" with the same frame design. I found the slots for the lens retaining tabs to be so narrow I couldn't even put the tabs back in. I can't imagine how the installer put them in there - removing the lens to match the fixture was an issue. Decided to take a chance with this version of Ostwin anyway. Found the opposite situation. The lugs dangle so freely in the Grooves that there is no tension holding the lens in place, just push the lens and it will fall out (or an earthquake will shake it. However, as I don't expect the mount to be abused, this should not be the problem the only reason for the rating less than 5 stars is the easy installation, you don't even have to d use the supplied mounting rod.
