The distance between the adjustable shelves does not allow using the standard 3-ring binder on both shelves at the same time. You can use the bottom part for standard folders and the top part for small items or vice versa, but not both. I need to store folders on 2 shelves so I'm bringing that back for the larger version. The boxes were undamaged on the outside, but there was no protective foam between the box and itself, so badly scratched. It doesn't matter to me as this is used in an industrial office where everything ends up with scratches, but I wouldn't put it in my house.
