Review on Thirty 48 Running Features CoolMax by Michael Welborn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They're cute and comfy

myself by buying expensive running socks! What a big mistake lol. Now I can't wear anything else. They are very soft and very comfortable. The problem is I have another brand they have to compete with. My aunt swore I should try this and I did. If I hadn't previously owned the brand I have, they would be my favorite! Hence the reason for 4 and not 5 stars. They seem a bit big. I wear women's shoes in sizes 9-10 and ordered medium. They fit a bit above the ankle because I had to stretch the material that far or it would bunch up in my shoes. If I kept these for myself I would trade them for small ones. The toe box also feels a lot thicker (than I prefer) than it should be. Compression is also minimal, which can be a good thing for some people. I personally like compression so they won't work for me. BUT I still rate them as good socks because if I wanted socks for free time I would definitely wear them. Summary: If you don't need a lot of arch compression and want slightly thicker (I'd say medium) socks, this is for you! They're soft and comfortable, but have a little more material than the Ultralight. They have grooves on the heels. So if you wear low shoes (e.g. sneakers, clog work shoes, etc.) this will help as the grooves will protect your Achilles tendon from wear and tear on your shoes!
