Review on ๐Ÿถ Rogz Utility Large Reflective Fanbelt Dog Collar - 3/4-Inch Width for Enhanced Visibility and Safety by Paul Massey

Very durable - excellent coloring - recommended!

I have a 17 pound little boy who does NOT like wearing a collar with hanging charms. He's also a long haired breed and the collars just opened the door for tangles around the neck so at home in our cul de sac and fenced yard I let him run around the house with no collar and no dog tags. He's microchipped, but since he didn't have a tag to indicate it, I trusted the system that someone would "check" if he ever disappeared from my sight (thankfully that didn't happen). Since we were going on a long road trip this summer, I figured he needed some clothes that could hold ID and a phone number in case something happened. At a local pet store I found a name tag to attach to your collar that I made out of his name, my cell phone number and the message "I'm microchipped". He has worn the collar with this unmarked tag every day for the last 5 months. He survived the daily play sessions with his furry little brother, getting wet, regular walks on the leash and all the other activities that he exposed him to. I specifically wanted a reflective collar and this one. It never resolved itself. It never got bigger on its own. The leash/tag holder tab is very solid in size. The plastic clasp was easy to use but still strong enough to hold. The only downside I can think of is that I wish the 3/4 inch collar was a little shorter. As my little boy is only 17lbs, the collar is a little larger than I was hoping (I was the smallest size which was large). If he tried really hard, he could turn his head. I needed 3/4" to fit the name tag I made for him. I ordered the same collar in purple and 5/8" in turquoise to have a spare collar on hand (one for each fur boy) People actually said they liked the collar itself and even asked for the brand name Yes this one is recommended.
