Review on 🪵 Large Basswood Country Plank with Bark by Walnut Hollow: Ideal for Woodburning, Rustic Home Décor, and Weddings by Lori Aguirre

I've seen several reviews of warped boards and to be honest I can see how the boards will be incompatible with mine after work. I've been successful with this project I had and am currently awaiting a second assignment. If your heart is set on the perfect gift or project with no flaws, I advise caution. For my purposes it was fantastic and just what I needed. Update: I have ordered several different items from this site including medium board sets and some large boards. I plan to order more. I'm keeping the 5 star rating but I think it's closer to a 4.5. Some boards behave as if they have been chemically mistreated, with some areas of the same board burning a richer orange and others a more muted brown. There are spots on some boards where I have to increase my grip temperature by more than 20% to get the same burn as the previous spot. This creates nasty inconsistencies with my projects. There were VERY different wood shapes in the medium items, which were about the size they were supposed to be. This wasn't a problem for me, but for someone who might be trying to create a multi-part project with a more unified look, it will be a gamble. The park of several pieces was bone dry and exploded when unpacking the package. Treat them with care and expect some inconsistencies in wood quality. They're okay, but they're not perfect.
