We used them for making ornaments at Thanksgiving, and they are excellent quality. Fast shipping and good value. My only recommendation is if you purchase 3 inch stencils get these in the 4 inch size! Also be sure your paint is good quality. The ones we did at work looked better due to better paint and larger pieces to paint on. But they are perfect for free hand or smaller stencils!

I bought these for my 2 year old and 5 year old to make Christmas ornament crafts. The predrilled hole saved us a step. We had no issues with any of the hole placements on the disks. All of the slices in my package were the same uniform size. These worked absolutely perfect with acrylic paint and I was also able to write on the back easily with a sharpie. They were a great value and they made the perfect ornaments.

Our 4 year old is a "project-fanatic"! Anything that she can do with markers or paint is always a win. We decided to buy these for her to make Christmas ornaments for family and friends. They're very smooth and take well to markers and paint. They're perfect to tie to a gift box or to just give as an ornament. I would definitely recommend these, and will buy again.

Came with a lot of the bark torn off (still in the package so I just glued it back on). The predrilled holes were often too small for the string unless you separate the string into two pieces, however, that makes the string weaker. After painting, a few started cracking along the natural lines of grain. Frustrating, nothing the company could do, but I had to repaint an entire new piece. I made some ornaments for a basketball themed baby shower and also for my girl scout troop. Took me a few attempts to get the sublimation settings correct, but I love how they turned out. I pressed the ink directly onto the wood at 375 F for 60-80 seconds with pressure. I probably should apply modge podge or something to make sure it holds up well, but I like the rustic look.

These rounds are the ideal size and lightweight. However, as I’m painting, they’re splitting. So far, I’ve painted 9 and 5 have split. 😩😩 It’s just too much work to have ruined. Not to mention. that’s almost half that aren’t useful.

Product was exactly what I wanted…thickness is good, sanded well on cut edges, but unfortunately, when you add paint, within 5-10 minutes, the room is full of loud pops as the pieces begin to crack from the edge towards the middle. We put a vinyl picture on these and turned them into ornaments. They did the job, but the bark fell off of almost all of them when we picked each circle up carefully to place the vinyl on. That was super sad.

This is the second time that I have purchased these to engrave with a laser. My first purchase was great, but my second had a bunch that split. I suspect that the wood was still a little wet and then they dried in my nice dry winter air, causing the splits. Fortunately I had a few left over from the first order so I had enough to complete the job.

You get two kinds of string to hang and cut to size. I had 5 that came split but it’s real wood and I think with some wood glue I can still use them. So very happy and there’s a variety in the shapes and sizes within the size range given. Will be buying more for projects in the future.
