Review on 👗 Stylish and Functional: North Face Women's Downtown Medium Clothing for Fashion-forward Ladies by Holly Naragon

I just ordered this coat on sale to prepare for my trip to Washington in December. Living in a part of Texas where we don't need such heavy coats, I just want to say that I am very experienced at buying coats. I wanted waterproof and warm and that seems to fit the bill. I compared Downtown Parka to Arctic II - they seem very similar. I chose Downtown because of other reviews that said the Arctic was a bit tight in the shoulders and chest. I'm 5ft 7in, 140lbs, 36lbs and bought a medium size. The length is perfect - not too short and not too long. It's quite spacious but not too big. I did self hug/stretch tests with the Better Sweater underneath and it didn't limit me at all. I think a smaller one would be too small in the shoulders but might fit the body better. The bungee cord helps define the waist area a bit, but it's still quite puffy in the middle. I want to be warm and comfortable and not wear a coat all day, so I'll stick with average.
