Unwanted plastic tips break under pressure - wands are strong

Although the wands are very strong and thick, plastic tips are terrible. Already three broken off, the plastic is very brittle. I had to glue and route the top of the pole to use the poles as the tops are flat and can scratch the interior paint causing rust.
