UGREEN seems to've made an enclosure that is very well-designed a̶n̶d̶,̶ ̶w̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶i̶r̶ ̶b̶l̶a̶t̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶f̶a̶l̶s̶e̶ ̶a̶d̶v̶e̶r̶t̶i̶s̶i̶n̶g̶,̶ ̶I̶ ̶w̶o̶u̶l̶d̶'̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶c̶t̶u̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶g̶i̶v̶e̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶t̶e̶m̶ ̶a̶ ̶f̶u̶l̶l̶ ̶5̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶r̶s̶.̶UGREEN felt the need to completely deny the properties of her device. Why? Probably because they were more focused on sales than delivering a proven product. Just note that there are two completely different results when my NVMe drive is built into my motherboard (left image, 3222 MB/s read speed) and built into the case (right image, 1070.35 MB/s read speed) . 20 Gb/s should register around 2500 MB/s per trace. If you read the benchmark, the real value might be around 2000MB/s, but as you can clearly see here, it doesn't even work at full 10Gbps bandwidth of 1250MB/s, as it barely exceeds 1000MB / s (actually 8 Gbps). . For anyone questioning my testing criteria, it's worth noting that this was tested on a 4th Gen PCIE motherboard with an 11th Gen i7 processor plugged directly into a Thunderbolt 4 (40Gb/s ) and retested with a certified Thunderbolt 3/4 cable (also 40Gb/s), otherwise delivering 1440p display output at 165 fps (via eGPU) is fine. I did my best to ensure the only bottleneck would be the hull itself and was truly blown away by the results. I've seen similar complaints about other falsely advertised cases at Revain, and it looks like UGREEN decided to join the scammers to pursue absolutely reprehensible business practices.
