Review on TRIXIE Wall Mount Cat Lounging Set with Cat Bed, Shelf, and Climbing Steps by Sue Kaminska

Hammock break good for cats

The problem isn't the screws, it's the construction of the hammock. I had it on my wall for maybe a week when the hammock in the back broke and my largest cat is 11.5lbs. The small sides coming out the back where the hammock's armrests are make it look flimsy. If you design it a little differently, e.g. B. an oval without the smaller section on the sides for the armrests, this adds to the overall strength of the product. . Last night because of the construction of this sofa, my cat Lola fell off the wall and landed hard on the wooden part of my sofa. I attached it easily enough, just drilled a hole in the main part of the back of the hammock, hammered a screw in and reattached it. It doesn't look that great but it works and for the money it's a great product but as they say when you buy it try not to put your hands where the holes are drilled because it will break ! You'll need a drill anyway, so drill some holes in the fabric and backing to match your rivets. Maybe they can be screwed under the brackets? If I had thought about it beforehand, I would have done it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall quality
Cons
  • Not bad
