Although the product is well made some of the parts were cheap. The screws that go into the wall and help hold these pieces in place were flimsy and broke in half when installing the brackets. if you buy this Please use the drywall screws bought in the hardware store. It's better to be safe than sorry for your cat's welfare.

I had to call an assistant to install it, so before the return window closed I knew the hammock was broken. The side where you attach the hand is chipboard and is broken. However, I reached out to Trixie Products directly and within minutes they responded and offered a replacement! Excellent customer service! I installed the other 3 parts and my mini loves it!

The product is mostly well made. The screws that come with it are very cheap and snap easily when you screw them into the wall. I suggest throwing them away and using better quality screws. The hammock armrests appear to be made of solid cardboard. Something like a tube in a paper towel roll, but much stronger. I have a feeling they could use better stuff out there. The problem isn't the screws, it's the construction of the hammock. I had it on my wall for maybe a week when the hammock in the back broke and my largest cat is 11.5lbs. The small sides coming out the back where the hammock's armrests are make it look flimsy.
