I believe every brand should have a quality product and be "affordable". It is definitely an accessible version. In general, the knives cut, but not very well. I guess for $250 you get what you pay for, but with the Henckels name I just expected a lot more. Knives would be much better if their profile was thinner. Due to their bulkiness, most foods stick to the knife and are very difficult to cut cleanly. For the average home cook, that's probably fine. For those looking for quality, look elsewhere, you won't be satisfied with this.
