The name DOT is misleading. Thin body helmet view
This is a basic helmet that offers at least some protection but I am not keen on this helmet. Note that it says "DOT" as if it were manufactured by the Department of Transportation. but that's a red herring. It's thinner and more flexible than my other helmets so I'm not sure I can trust this helmet. The breath/vent is fake and just for show and the chin strap feels like it could suffocate me in a fall. So it's not my favorite helmet. Not terrible, but not great either.
