Review on SONGMICS Large Bamboo Bed Tray with Tilting Top, Drawer, and Right-Left Handed Laptop Desk by Chris Cruz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Every college student and remote worker NEEDS this.

This tray is the best I have ever bought. I would even call it essential for any person working from home on their laptop. It's last week and it's been a really busy semester and my 27 year old back/shoulders/neck is killing me for spending so much time hunched over my laptop. Due to back pain, I started putting my laptop to bed with lots of pillows behind my back, but that didn't work either. This tray solves all my problems. I can lean back in bed with my computer facing me at the perfect angle. I can sit on the couch and work with the tablet on my lap and the flat top of the tablet. I can have a desk anywhere - convenient! I was skeptical about this purchase. I thought it might be a bust. I thought it might be one of those things that sounds cool right now so you buy it why not it's late at night and you're on Revain. Instead, it far exceeded my expectations. First I wanted to take some tools and assemble them when they arrived. I'll take it out of the box and guess what. An assembly is not required. All I did was adjust the height of the legs (you don't need any tools for this). I've since adjusted it again and am trying to decide which one I prefer. Just wanted to mention that when I'm typing, I notice how perfectly the part that keeps your computer from sliding towards you fits in. I have a 15" MacBook Air and the piece of wood is about 6". This gives you the perfect amount of room to rest your wrists on either side and type normally while keeping your laptop as centered as possible. Things I'm not that crazy about: - Finish/color. That is not my style. It doesn't match my decor. Crate. When I ordered the box I thought the box was cool, like when you love a dress and it ALSO has pockets! The best. But the box is kinda annoying. Sometimes when you move the tray it kind of pops out. Not quite, but enough to annoy. And it's actually not big enough to fit anything substantial in it. I threw in a few cards - wish there was a way to lock the legs when folded. It's also something that isn't a problem until you transfer it and then feel like you need two hands. You can't carry that thing under your arm. Too many objects are swinging - There may be a lower value between flat and the current lowest value - The roller coaster is actually not a roller coaster. It shouldn't be there at all. It's not mandatory. But if you have a drink holder, make it a real drink holder. It's more like offering a drink. And that's all for the cons list. That's great. My back feels great. I could work at my computer all day with this setup and that was me. I started using this tray 4 days ago and it has changed my life. I've told all my friends about it. I wrote about it on Snapchat. As well as anyone who works on a laptop at home, people who watch TV/movies on their laptop should also have this. It puts your screen right in front of your face even when you're lying down, which is great. After purchasing this tablet, my love affair with my laptop has continued as it is now much easier and more convenient to see and use.
