I've been using this capture card for a few weeks now, everything is fine! The two main uses so far have been using my DSLR as a Zoom webcam and broadcasting live meetings from Zoom to YouTube and Facebook. For a webcam, it's as simple as HDMI out of the camera and into the adapter, plug it into a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port and away you go - completely driver-free. Zooming meetings to YouTube and Facebook: I use the capture card as input to Wirecast (OBS works too) from a laptop and can use the audio and video from this HDMI channel to stream to both locations at the same time.
