I chose this air filter after carefully researching various filters sold by Toyota/Lexus. This is by far the highest quality offering that comes standard on the Lexus LS460 and the size and shape are perfect for my 2011 Toyota Prius with OEM Sharp Plasmacluster Ionization. The American filter offered by my local Toyota dealership lacked the quality and amount of creases that the Japanese filter in my new car had. This Japanese Lexus filter shares the same high quality pleats as my original filter and adds an activated carbon filter layer that refreshes and deodorizes the interior without interfering with fan operation. For people like me who only accept the very best, the small price premium compared to smaller cabin filters is worth it!
