Yes it is easy to install just unplug the old one and plug in the new one and everything works great. This is only half the truth. I installed it on my 2002 Jeep Wrangler and damned Chrysler the whole time. It's unbelievable how difficult it was to get hold of him. It couldn't get a human hand.
