Review on πŸ’ͺ Spree Bluetooth Fitness HR Tracker by Kelz Dixon

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Beta product lacks core features, couldn't get it to work, wouldn't recommend

I ordered a $300 Spree headband product and received it on Friday. It just didn't work. I spent a frustrating weekend contacting the Spree tech support folks. They did reply to emails which was good but ultimately they couldn't fix any of the many issues and on Monday I sent the Revain product back for a refund. It looks like Spree has a plethora of issues with their device, not the least of which is the lack of pairing, issues with the app working, and their user guide is a notch above non-existent. Their so-called user manual didn't provide any details that would allow the user to troubleshoot problems, it didn't even tell the user how long it would take to charge the device, it didn't say what the indicator light should be. while charging and when it was fully charged, that was all information found out only after a long chat with Spree tech support while troubleshooting. The capsule is not securely attached to the headband and can easily fall out, get lost, scratched or damaged. The device doesn't even give you a number for the temperature. Spree says they're doing this on purpose, but it would be much more accurate if a number was displayed. This device concept appears promising, but is definitely not yet ready for prime time. They seem to use early adopters like me as beta testers. They seem to be in a hurry to get their product out there and they definitely have a way to go before it becomes a viable product. I currently do not recommend.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
