The quality of the part is excellent! A tube with almost the ideal diameter for a 1.75 mm thread. And it's a must-have compared to factory tubes that leave a lot of slack to the filament inside when you need precision. BUT if your printer has an OEM filament detection sensor. The new metal parts are thicker than the original plastic parts and no longer line up with the filament holes. The REMOVED STAR is due to Creality having to do these upgrades themselves, but their own upgraded parts have clearly never been tested against their own tolerance hardware. They had to include some sort of shim, spacer, or shims to raise the factory filament detection sensor to the new 1.9mm offset required to properly align the filament holes from the filament sensor outlet with the extruder inlet. Mismatched holes can lead to broken filament, poor prints, and just general chaos. Don't let that stop you. These details are worth it. The solution is pretty simple. The sensor mounts with M3 screws, so you only need four M3 washers for each screw to realign the correct offset. In my photos you can see how to put it together. Hope this helps someone.
