I really liked this thing at first but after a few days I realized it sucks. First, it's just unstable. It's thin and what you put on top of it for stabilization doesn't really help much. Whenever my cats reached the second level, they wobbled and got worse when they got to the top. It got to the point where my 7 month old kitten refused to go upstairs because he couldn't bear it. It's also incredibly difficult for them to get down from the top level, forcing them to jump down. Luckily my couch is next to a tree so it's ok but still not great. Now for durability. It was great, until today I noticed that the hammock looks a bit bent. I tried to adjust it but then my cat got in and it broke and he fell. My cats are under 7 months old so it's not a weight issue. I have a hunch that this might be because I had to find my way from top to bottom and jump into the hammock. Either way, it's bad material and bad design. Bottom line, as much as I wanted to love it and my cats seemed to love it, it's poorly constructed, not sturdy, and definitely not durable.
