See "Updated review 06 December 2019" First review after using the product in July 2019 PROS: This pot makes coffee HOT! Absolutely fantastic. finally a HOT cup of coffee; Besides, the warmer mode also keeps it warm enough. IF coffee is drunk within 30 minutes. CONS: The first 2-3 weeks of brewing coffee comes with a strange "plastic" smell. Coffee is not affected. I think it's just the new plastic that's getting hotter and hotter. Now, after about 4 weeks, the smell is almost imperceptible. UPDATED Reviewed December 6, 2019: It broke today! This is NO longer a working coffee pot! We can't believe it's already broken; after all we only used it 04 months; and only 04 cups of coffee a day for two! It is NOT an acceptable item if it doesn't work even for at least a year. Needless to say, it went to hell! The buyer is wary that it may not work in a few months. Now NOT recommended!
