Too many bells and whistles

I've already bought about 5 different of these BT devices so I know a thing or two about these devices. So far, only one of them meets my criteria. This is Homespot - BT long range receiver. It's always on when plugged in, sounds very good, and has a decent range. My only concern is that you can only pair one, not two. So I bought this one to try. First, it has no problem connecting to my phone, which is reassuring. Everything also works well and sounds good. Except it has a battery backup and that was a deal breaker for me. I'm in dire need of a device that turns on when there is power and turns off when it's not. This configuration works particularly well when plugged into the switched outlet on the back of the audio receiver. This will turn it on automatically when the receiver is turned on. Overall I still think it's a good device but it just doesn't suit my needs which is why she went back to Revain. πŸ‘‹
