First, the photos of this product are not true. The "scene" of the playmat is not the same at all. It's still "dinosaur-themed," but it's just not what's pictured. It's not bad, just a mismatch. Second, the trash can comes with 2 very small plastic dinosaurs. They are the size of my thumb. Super tiny tiny. I literally didn't even unscrew them from the box. I didn't want to waste my time. They went to the dump. Luckily I bought it because my son already has dinosaurs that need a "home" and it's perfect for that. I'd say it's about the size of a large lunch box. It's thinner than I imagined, but it holds the dinosaurs like it should. And my son loves that his dinosaurs have a colorful mat to play on. Overall it was worth it for the price. Play mat and storage box in one? It's hard to go wrong with this!
