If you care about your stamps, be careful with your pliers. There are a few qualities you want in a punch pliers that are NOT usually found together: 1) Thin and flat tips - if the tips are "blunt" in any way, they can damage the perforations of the die when You try to slide them under the die. 2) There must be no sharp ends or edges that could damage the stamp. 3) The inside of the surface of the die forceps should be very flat, very flat in contact with each other, so that the pressure on the die is distributed and not concentrated on the edges, and 4) for long service life. In use, there should be an angle between the plane of the stamp holder and the comfortable position of the hands. These stamp tongs have all four of these characteristics, in contrast to most other, even many best matches (so far) offered by "stamp collectors" What a real stamp collector expects from a stamp tongs.
