(Update) I had an issue with insufficient tension but I removed the rubber washer and fixed that issue if you have the same issue Try it out the same. The Ronin-S rubber base works better without the rubber pad. That's how it was for me, but maybe it's different for you. Overall a good product with more than enough room for a monitor and microphone. I use it with my Ninja V and Zoom H6.
