Have found the case to be too thin to fit brushes with thicker handles on either side. My watercolor brushes take up all the space when closed, so I can only use one side. Since these are expensive brushes, I don't mind protecting them. The tiny slots at the ends on the right are useless for most brushes unless you're using ultra-fine types. The color is very pleasant, and if you have a smelly one, I suggest you put it in a plastic bag with crumpled newspaper for a few days. This also works with cigarette smoke. If you want to use it for classroom work, it takes up a lot of desk space.
