Some reviewers worried me that the hidden pocket zipper would be visible. Mine just folds flat and parallel to the belt. Easily adjustable, this harness is perfect for long flights or sightseeing. It looks great with jeans or hiking/tactical pants, it's lightweight and won't weigh you down. In a hidden pocket, the strap is 1.5/8 inch (3.75 cm) wide. Inner pocket is 1 and 1/4 inch (3 cm) wide. This belt is not flimsy and does not appear to curl up into a tube. I have no complaints about this belt. Will update after the trip if my mind changes. *** UPDATE: After traveling to the other side of the world and going through security at several airports, I can confirm that EVERYONE BIDD ME to remove the belt. None of the airport security people cared that I said it wasn't metal. It's still a great belt for international travel, just make sure you cut it to your waistline at home.
