IF I did not need a separate base to attach to my remote modem for VoIP as ATT is impossible to deal with on a real landline I would not have chosen this one. The dialing directory requires 2 programs added to your smartphone and everyone else's that need numbers in the phone as this is the only way to change, add, correct or find that your smart phone contacts must be letter perfect to transfer, if not you get a number with no name. The numbers on the display are small but readable by a teenager with perfect eyesight. It can voice dial via Alexa, but do you really want Alexa on a handphone? I found out very quickly that this phone is an abortion waiting to happen as it has combined unwanted and unneeded parts to make a confusing, overly complex mess. If I could find any other phone that works with ViaSat, has 4 handsets, intercom and range to my workshop and a separate base that does not also act as a cradle to a phone I would have purchased it. These appear to be of good quality, sound good, good range yet have zero tech support and are true bitch to get your numbers into. 20 hours and I am still not through with my 44 numbers (only transfers first, and last names and numbers without a 1 or country code) and still have a son's and wife's numbers to add. Alexa, smartphones and substitute landlines should never mix and I wish I could meet the idiot that dreamed up this combination.
