We are gearing up for AT&T fiber and I'm replacing the CAT 5e cable with this CAT 6. I've spent a lot of time looking at CCA or all the copper wires and I'm for it decided money and don't worry about taking advantage of 1G fiber at home. The heavier gauge wire and internal plastic wire splitter make this bundle of cables a little thicker, but we're very happy with the CAT6 connectivity and PoE performance (important for PoE phones and cameras). Considering the time it takes to redraw the wire, the added cost of solid copper seems very small at this point. I'm glad we decided to replace the cable with this cable.
