Review on S P Richards Company Straight SPR25226 by Carrie Spencer

These scissors were very cheap when I bought them for Christmas gift wrapping a few months ago. I actually bought two different cheap scissors because I lose them so often. This pair is straight and the blades are sharp. They are comfortable in my hand, although I prefer curved handles. They stand up to paper and cardboard, but also easily cut through heavier objects. They are quite sharp and not dulled yet. I taught them to cut many types of things, but nothing particularly difficult. It wouldn't be a precision hair clipper, but it would be good household scissors for everyday use. I threw them in my "garbage drawer" along with other things that I take with me when I need to do a little chore and use them for whatever comes up. One thing I noticed is that they cut through the fabric a little hard. I was trying to cut an old flannel shirt into fabric and was having a little trouble getting the scissors to cut straight and in one pass. Otherwise, these SP Richards scissors are great for everyday home use.
