This paper falls somewhere between newspaper and toilet paper. The reel was knocked out of a round shape so it doesn't cut straight into the reel seat, most likely due to careless packaging. The paper itself is disheveled either from inferior production or from moisture during storage. The paper surface finish is rough and poor. This material would disintegrate when used to cut paper. Additionally, it's a lot more expensive than the thicker, higher quality paper we're used to. This paper is exactly 0.0035 inches thick. 40# paper should be more than TWICE thicker than 0.0073 inch. If you're the kind of person who needs a 36 inch wide toilet paper roll, this might come in handy. Otherwise, this material is practically useless.
