My job is to offer product demonstrations and a few calls a day. This little device has inputs for my camera, dual outputs from my desktop, and video from whatever hardware we're using. The fact that it shows up as a webcam means I can essentially "share my screen" without having to be the host or have meeting permissions. That plus showing my camera and video from other hardware makes this a lot easier than using OBS with a bunch of buttons on my MacBook. I use the freeze frame button to show my company logo when I need to hide my face for a second. It might not be the intended use case, but it's a good solution for the price. Everyone is shocked at my high performance on business video calls, but it will become the norm between this reality of working from home and when the kids streaming on Twitch move into the business world, embarrassing us for our acquired production skills.
