Feedback from Sim Enthusiasts

I placed an order on September 24th and arrived on September 26th. First, I'll review the product from a sim enthusiast's point of view. This isn't my only Logitech steering wheel. Now we come to the will. I've had Logitech wheels for years and they still work to this day. Not only are they reliable, but they're also customizable and fun. This Logitech G29 for PS4 and PC is very similar to the G27 but slightly improved. It feels good and is very quiet compared to its predecessors. It rattles when force feedback kicks in, but not as severely as the G25 and G27, and the gears feel a bit better in corners. The pedals are much better than the G25 and G27 but not as much as Thrustmaster t3pa pedals or Fanatec Clubsports pedals. . The clutch feels like a modern clutch, the brakes are a bit real but require mods to make them feel premium, the throttle feels perfect. Overall, upgrading the G25 or G27 pedals is worth it. Switch, I can't attest if it's any better than the old ones since I'm using a G27 switch. The G27 H is compatible with the G29 but the extra buttons don't work, but I'm ok with that. I haven't tested the G25 H and the sequential shifter on the G29, but I'm sure it will work. The paddle shifters click louder on the G29 and feel a bit heavy, not much improvement here. They are very responsive and strong, you need a hammer to break them. Pros: Improved steering controls Additional buttons on the steering wheel (no need to use a controller) Leather steering wheel Overall better pedals than its predecessors Includes brushed aluminum clutch, brake and pedals Wheel, paddles and pedals feel solid Two-speed motors with feedback Best balance bike for the money overall very reliable product and easy to maintain Cons: Small dead zone but not that noticeable clacking) Feels like plastic Judge for yourself, the pros outweigh the cons, but that's just my personal opinion. If you are on a budget and looking for a very raceworthy and reliable steering wheel and are either a sim enthusiast or play a lot, this is the best option. If money isn't an issue, consider other hardcore brands, but make sure you get a guarantee, as premium wheels break more often than Logitech. Overall (I know I've used the word too many times) I'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase and this wheel has completed my setup for GT Sport, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2 and so on. I wholeheartedly recommend this wheel, it will last you a very long time, just like my old DF, G25 and G27.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
