The first thing I noticed was that the tongue was attached. You could almost look at these shoes without laces and tie the laces loosely. Or you can tie and get a better fit every time. They are very light. The outsole is not rubber, but more like the EVA foam found in high-end athletic shoes or the famous crocodile clogs. They absorb shock very well because the sole is thick. The fit is pretty standard. This is great for me because I want to remove the insole and replace it with my own with arch support. The tread is sufficient for flat surfaces and for walking. I use them as sports shoes so they are perfect. I don't want heavy, bulky shoes when I'm at the machines. I also like the optics. There are no flashy labels or fake logos here. It combines very well with everyday clothes and at the same time looks fashionable.
