In my experience this disc also works well on metal (contrary to other reviews). I was able to securely attach the disc to a large, heavy 5 pound metal plate. Tips: When pouring the glue, be careful to avoid dry spots and not too much water. Attach the disc by hand first, then use a ruler to squeeze out any bubbles and excess liquid (as recommended in another review). Finally, after drying for 24 hours, use tape to secure the edges of the disc, especially the top. This makes the hanger very durable. Enjoy and good luck!
