I bought a very complete set: - SmallRig Cage for iPhone X/XS (CPA2204, this product) - SmallRig Cell Phone Head (BSP2380) - SmallRig Cell Phone Extension Plate (APU2381) - Moment Anamorphic Lens - Moment Wide Angle Lens The video, I've attached here shows how it all fits together. Cage for iPhone X/XS: Very nice cage with high resistance. I have many SmallRig products and this one, like them, is built to perfection right down to the tolerances and overall quality of the finish and black anodizing. I love using these products and this one doesn't disappoint! All ports and buttons are easily accessible thanks to the ideal layout. The way the button slides to reveal the top of the case is perfect. Removing this cage is easier and quicker than removing the Apple silicone case (which is also easy). The drawing of the spider is more beautiful live than in the pictures. The best thing about this cell is the perfection of the interface with the mobile phone head. You really need to get these accessories to take full advantage of the cage. The feeling of the head attached to the cage is like a high-tech lock with perfect stability, seriously like in sci-fi movies! Once connected, the attachment becomes RELIABLE. I put it on my Manfrotto tripod and it's just amazing. No other iPhone holder I own (I have about 5 of them) even comes close. A special feature of the SmallRig Cage for iPhone X/XS is the ability to add moment lenses to the cage. I bought Moment Anamorphic and Moment wide angle lenses. The video quality is excellent. Before attempting this, I thought that the lens in front of the iPhone's lens glass would create unwanted artifacts in images, but that's not the case. Lens to SmallRig cage: 1) Remove the carbon fiber insert from the cage; 2) attach the lens to the carbon fiber insert; 3) Screw the node [lens + carbon fiber insert] to the cage. ****** ****Accessories: SmallRig tripod head: The phone head is described above. Perfection. It rotates where you want it with enough friction to easily line it up where you want the camera to point, but it doesn't move once you place it in the right spot. Surprisingly useful, and as mentioned above, the high-tech, durable mount is simply superior! The head also snaps into place with perfect futuristic tolerances. Wonderful! The head moves along the pitch and yaw axis, allowing it to be placed on a simple, lightweight, full-featured tripod (see images). The rosewood back with SmallRig engraving gives the device a premium look and feel. Finally, bobbing your head up and down and rotating it around its vertical axis feels the same as moving your head when faced with resistance, but it's gentle and ensures the head stays in place once you rotate it into position . want, even if you put it on a long selfie stick. What you get is wonderful for the price! Smartphone Extension Plate Tripod Mount Adapter: The mobile extension plate is great for adding accessories to your setup. The plate has rosewood inlays on both sides. It unfolds into a long board about 12 inches with 6 1/4 inch-20 threaded holes and two cold shoe mounts, one at each end of the board. The surface of the cymbal has a rubber insert to protect the accessory you attach it to. The cymbal I should mention that the rubber doesn't feel like sticky rubber. It's perfectly recessed into the aluminum base and feels like it's a solid piece of rubberized metal. I'm not sure how they do it so perfectly, but they definitely did. I really liked that the plate stays extended after screwing on the tripod head, so you don't make a mistake while working and accidentally flip it up. The platform has a 1/4"-20 screw hole on the bottom so it can be mounted on any standard tripod. It's solid and looks great, right down to the "SmallRig" that's on the rosewood is engraved. really nice to look at and use. Again, it's amazing what you get from SmallRig for the money you pay. To see how useful this is, look at the last two photos. , me try to find something I don't like just to make sure I give as complete an overview as possible. However, in this case I can't say anything negative. I'm just very happy. Given the high quality of this product, I'm even with the Price happy.I think the only caveat is that you have to buy a new cell every time you buy a new phone model.But note that the price of this cage is only $10 more than the price of Apple's soft silicone case lies.
