Sturdy and with good support but not much mesh to tell. I wish the shoulder strap had metal hooks instead of plastic hooks. My 9.7 lb kitten is perfect for a medium sized cat and has plenty of room. Haven't used it yet, but am trying to get her used to it at home. I think she will be much more comfortable in it than in her hard plastic carrier. None of the reviews mention kittens chewing through nets. That's my biggest concern. is this common Can anyone comment on this? She likes to gnaw her harness, but luckily it's very strong. Metal zippers with a lock are great. The kit includes a holder for the car's seat belt.
